2023 Chili Cookoff

Saturday February 25th was our quarterly Knights Mass… it was great to see all the black polo shirts!

We then hosted the 2023 St. Columban Knights of Columbus Council 13813 Chili Cook-Off in the Parish Hall and it was a huge success.  A great turnout with many parishioners getting a taste of what the Knights is all about.

There were 18 delicious pots of chili from Chris Grader, Mike Hutzel, Rich Nolde, Rick Morman, John LaFrance, Stacy and Jeff Strottman, Ross Geiger, Tracy and Jeff Powers, Bill Dwyer, Lon Tran, Allan Orth, Phil Wentzel, Derek Beeker, John McCahan and Bill Rider.

Winners for categories were:
Spicy – Mike Hutzel
White Bean – John LaFrance
Texas – Ross Geiger
Traditional – Allan Orth.

Overall Runner Up - Phil Wentzel

Grand Champion - Chris Grader
